The donkey is primarily made from very dense, 13 layer Baltic Birch Plywood, which then has Formica laminate bonded to the outer faces. This results in an extremely durable product that is easy to keep clean.
The Donkey is height adjustable and can be tilted up to 15 degrees to the left or the right making it easy to work with any thickness of veneer.
The birds mouth cutting deck is removable and easily replaceable, so can be swapped out as it becomes worn-out through use.
The base allows several options for mounting to a work surface. It can easily be held in a bench vise or Moxon style vise. There are also 2 large, flat clamping pads so it can be clamped to a table top or bench top. Additionally, there are 2 rectangular slots that will accommodate track-saw style clamps.
